Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Supper Radio (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Supper Radio iOS app and visit supperradio.com (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Account information. Your US phone number (used to sign in), display name, and an internal user identifier associated with your account.
- Onboarding information. Optional survey responses, such as what brings you to Supper Radio and who you would like to make songs about.
- Story and conversation data. Microphone audio during live voice conversations with our AI interviewer, and text transcripts of those conversations. We do not retain the raw microphone audio after the conversation ends; only the text transcript is stored.
- Song and library data. Generated song audio, lyrics, titles, genres, vocal and tone preferences, remixes, and how your songs are organized in your library.
- Subscription information. Your subscription status, plan type, song credit balance, and purchase history processed through Apple's App Store and our subscription provider. We do not receive your full payment card number.
- Support communications. Information you provide when you contact us by email or through in-app feedback.
- Automatic information. Device type, operating system version, app version, log data, and usage events related to how you interact with the Service.
- Website information. If you visit supperradio.com, our hosting provider may collect basic server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and authenticate your account
- Conduct live AI voice conversations and produce transcripts
- Generate, store, play back, and remix your songs
- Manage your subscription, song credits, and in-app purchases
- Host and serve public share links for songs you choose to share
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests
- Request your explicit consent before sharing data with third-party AI services, and allow you to revoke that consent at any time from Account settings
- Improve, maintain, and secure the Service
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for cross-app advertising or behavioral tracking across other companies' apps and websites.
4. AI and Automated Processing
Supper Radio uses several third-party AI services to power voice conversations and song creation. Before any data is sent to these services, we ask for your explicit consent in the app. You can revoke this consent at any time from Account settings. Here is what each service receives:
- Google (Gemini). When you start a live conversation, audio from your microphone is streamed to Google's Gemini service in real time to conduct the interview. Gemini returns a text transcript of the conversation. We do not store the raw audio. Google receives only the conversation audio and text. No name, email, phone number, device information, or account data is sent. Google does not use your conversation data to train its models.
- Anthropic (Claude). Your written transcript and any song preferences you select (title, genre, tone, and vocal style) are sent to Anthropic's Claude to write your lyrics, select musical direction, and compose an image description for your album art. Anthropic receives no audio, no account information, and does not use your data for model training.
- Mureka. The finished lyrics are sent to Mureka to compose your song audio. Mureka does not receive your transcript, audio, or any personal details beyond the lyrics themselves. Mureka may use submitted lyrics to improve their music models.
- OpenAI. A short creative description written by Claude (not your transcript or audio) is sent to OpenAI to generate your album cover image. OpenAI does not receive your transcript, conversation audio, or any personal details. OpenAI does not use your data for model training.
We never share your name, email, phone number, or account details with any of these services. The only personal content shared is what you choose to say during your conversation or add to your song preferences.
Because you choose what to share during conversations, your content may include personal or family details. Please only share information you are comfortable having processed for song generation and stored in connection with your account.
6. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following third-party services that may collect or process information on our behalf:
- Supabase: authentication, database, and backend infrastructure
- Google (Gemini): live voice conversations and transcript generation (see Section 4)
- Anthropic (Claude): songwriting, musical direction, and album art descriptions (see Section 4)
- Mureka: song audio generation from lyrics (see Section 4)
- OpenAI: album cover image generation (see Section 4)
- RevenueCat: subscription and purchase management
- Apple: App Store payment processing
Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data. Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where these providers operate.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account through Account → Profile → Delete Account in the app, we delete or anonymize your account data, subject to limited retention where required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, or backup systems.
If your subscription ends and is not renewed, we retain your songs for 90 days from the end of your last paid period, after which they are queued for removal. You can download your songs from the app while your account and library are still active.
Public share links may remain accessible until you delete the associated song or your account. Cached copies may persist for a short period after deletion.
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our systems. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
